It’s hard to change up something, especially if you really like it.  So, when I decided to try a new pizza at a new restaurant I was betting on the devil I didn’t know versus the devil I did.

Epic Pizza and Bistro is located on Union Lake Road in Commerce Township and owned by Gabriel and Esther who moved into the spot after Daniel’s Pizza Bistro closed last year.  It’s family owned and operated with their kids pulling in some hours.

 I strolled into the restaurant expecting a couple four tops and plastic chairs and a long counter where carry-outs are ordered and picked up. I was surprised to walk in and see a

With plenty of entertainment found inside a 60,000 square foot outdoor tent, Cinco Bash will be one of the best events in the area for Cinco de Mayo. It will be held in the West Village Commons located on West Village Drive in Dearborn. The event will be held on May 1st and 2nd with plenty of entertainment and fun for all ages.

The bands have yet to be announced, but there will be plenty of the coming to the festival. Along with live bands, you can enjoy DJs, dancing, a kid’s zone and more. There will be plenty of authentic Latin and Salsa music for all to enjoy.

The St Clair Art Fair is an annual waterfront event that happens in downtown Palmer Park and the Riverview Plaza in St. Clair along the Blue Waters.

2015 St. Clair Art Fair

This year will be the 44th annual event, which makes this fair one of the oldest ones still around in eastern Michigan. Admission is free and the fair will happen on June 27th and 28th, between the hours of 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturday and 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday. The exact address is 201 N Riverside Avenue in Saint Clair, MI.

Art Displays

More than 120 artists will be featuring their work at the fair, so it is a great place to enjoy new and seasoned artists alike. Booths will be along the Boardwalk on the St. Clair River as well as beside the sidewalk on Riverside Avenue

The Habitat Detroit’s Red Carpet Bash is an amazing event that happens in February and will be on the 21st consecutive year. The 57th Annual Boat Show is returning to Detroit starting this Valentine’s Day until February 22nd. The show is the original, best and biggest boat show in the state. They will be featuring hundreds of new 2014 and new non-current model boats, trailers, motors and accessories.
