Every time I'm out somewhere, people ask me the same questions. "Are you really selling anything?" or "Is anything selling out there?"
People actually believe all the media hype. It's so far from the truth that it is almost hilarious. What if I told you that more homes have sold this year than last year. I'm not kidding! When I call some of my sellers periodically to update them on the most recent activity, they also tell themselves these lies to make themselves feel better. They feel like it's not just them who isn't getting any offers. They talk themselves into believing that nobody is getting any offers. LOL (For the text challenged people out there, that means Laughing Out Loud.) More homes have sold this year in Michigan than last year. If you are not getting offers, you have three choices:
- Upgrade the condition of your home, adding more features and benefits
- Adjust your price
- If you are not already a client of The MARK Z. Real Estate Team, change Realtors and get a more aggressive salesperson

For my sellers that have listened to me when I call to tell them the market is not accepting our price, and have done something about it, kudos to them. In fact kudos to the 84 people this year that have been part of my record setting year. Yes there are Realtors that are selling more houses than they have ever sold before. It's really about the marketing that has made the difference for me. I wanted to give my sellers some value. I took a hard look at what was bringing results and what was getting stale. I decided to spend more money on the online advertising budget and less on the print advertising. It's working, we have more buyers than we know what to do with.
