Sell Now or Wait For Market To Rebound?

I was on a listing presentation in Northville, Michigan and the sellers said something I am hearing a lot when I am out listing a home. The sellers said "we were thinking about not selling our Northville home now, and just waiting for the market to get better in a couple years."
First of all there is every indication that it will be 5-7 years before we see any kind of upward trending market. How would I know that you ask? Great Question! Experts in the industry watch the numbers. We are in a supply and demand industry and when there is much more supply, than there is demand, unfortunately prices adjust down.
